The new anti-abortion movie "Gosnell" about the doctor convicted of murder for killing infants is doing huge box office numbers.

Now it appears leftist theaters are doing everything they can to keep people from seeing the movie.

According to a report from Life News, there has been over 200 theaters who stopped showing the anti-abortion movie.

The filmmakers are wondering why hundreds of these theaters have kept people from seeing their film.

Customers interested in seeing the film have been given the run-around every way possible. At this point it has happened way too many times to just chalk it up as a coincidence.

Gosnell was on only 668 screens last week, but by Friday had earned over $2 million. This makes it a top 10 hit at the box office. Gosnell is a massive success.

So why have 200 theaters dropped the film?

Per Daily Wire:

According to John Sullivan, the film's marketing director who also served as a producer, the drop cannot be written off as a mere coincidence or "business as usual."

"I can tell you from my experience in 15 years of releasing movies independently, we’re in uncharted territories," Sullivan told DW. "It is an impacted fall, no doubt about it, but the fact that we’ve been dropped from theaters where the movie is the number 6 or number 9 movie is just something you don’t see."

"It’s hard not to believe it isn’t about the content of the movie," he added. While some of the smaller theaters may have dropped "Gosnell" to make way for "Halloween" this weekend (a major release projected at number 1), the same could not be said for multiplexes housing 20 or more theaters where the film performed in the top 10.

"We have theaters that are dropping that are top theaters, that are performing very well," said Sullivan. "We’ve been the number 6 in a 15-plex and it gets dropped this week. We’ve been number 9 in a 30-plex and we’re getting dropped this week. There are about 15 theaters like that where typically you would not get dropped."

"I do recognize it’s a crowded marketplace — 'Halloween' is going to be a huge opening," he continued. "But it’s very odd to me that you’re within the top 10 and you’re getting dropped out of a movie house."

Dean Cain took to Twitter to speak out about the bias against his new movie.

No one would be surprised to learn that liberal Hollywood is behind this movie being held down. This doesn't align with their narrative.

Liberal Hollywood is very fearful of seeing opposing views. It's a scary thought for them that movies are actually giving people stuff to think about. Especially when the stuff to think about is from opposing views.

This is a life and death issue. People deserve to see views from both sides of the aisle for abortion.
