On Monday, actress Alyssa Milano, who happens to have armed bodyguards, went out on a Twitter rant opposing the NRA. While the tweet was very nasty, it's important to note that it is also false. In response, she gets absolutely annihilated on Twitter.

This isn't the first time Milano sent out a mean-spirited tweet in the direction of the NRA. Who could forget this gem she tweeted in 2017?

This time she makes the claim that the NRA doesn't care about anything but profit.

To try to give her argument some legitimacy, she quoted a Business Insider article from 2013 in her next tweet. The article was written by Walter Hickey, who knows writes for Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight.

So the NRA doesn't care about veterans? Also, they only care about profit, despite being a non-profit organization.

Per Daily Wire:

The NRA Foundation has given $61 million to a variety of local groups since 2010; 500 schools received more than $7.3 million from 2010 through 2016; 4-H groups have received $12.2 million since 2010, and Boy Scout troops and councils received $4 million.

As far as not caring about veterans, try again: the NRA has worked with Congress to support the Veterans Second Amendment Protection Act, and more recently, the Mental Health and Safe Communities Act.

There was some serious outrage directed toward Milano after her rant:

Next time, Alyssa, just keep your mouth shut.
