If there's one thing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been successful with, it's getting her name out there. The fact that this poll shows that 44% of Democrats haven't heard enough about her to form an opinion is crazy.
This is especially true when you compare the this to the fact that only 23% of Republicans haven't heard enough about her to form an opinion.
It's hard to believe that nearly half of the left hasn't learned enough about their superstar to form an opinion. Meanwhile they are blasting social media with videos and memes about how great AOC is.

So what does AOC think about this assessment of her? Well, she put on her tinfoil hat and came up with a conspiracy theory that explains how they came up with these numbers.
It’s almost as though there is a directed + concerted far-right propaganda machine with a whole cable news channel, and a dark-money internet operation propped up by the Mercers et al dedicated to maligning me & stoking nat’l division, reported on by @JaneMayerNYer or something https://t.co/HChBp04c8W

Oh my. She figured everything out. From the propaganda machine to the news channel to the dark money operation that is going to take her down.
There were some great responses on Twitter:

Maybe the 44% of Democrats who say they don’t know enough about you to form an opinion are just being polite. https://t.co/IZexKek7pv

Conspiracy theories aren’t good for either side so let’s just not make things up.

She is out of her mind. Anytime she grabs a microphone she exposes how little she knows.
