Another story of how far left Hollywood is. Actress Nicole Kidman revealed that she is often teased by her friends for going to church as a family and her strong belief in God.

The 51-year-old Kidman shares two kids with country singer Keith Urban and also has two kids from a previous marriage with Tom Cruise. Kidman said that she is often teased that she attends church on Sunday with her daughters Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, 8.

"A lot of my friends tease me," she said in a recent cover story with Vanity Fair.

“That’s how we are raising our children. Keith has his own beliefs but he comes, too. I had a very Catholic grandmother, and I was raised praying, so that had a massive impact,” Kidman said.

The Oscar winner refuses to back down, despite push back from her inner circle. Despite this, she makes it clear that if her children have any questions about their faith they are welcome.

“I wouldn’t say it’s absolutism, there’s constant questioning — I’m a willful, feisty girl,” Kidman continued. “For me it’s very important that I don’t have judgment. My dad would always say, ‘Tolerance is the most important thing.’”

This isn't the first time Kidman has brought up her faith in an interview. In a previous interview with Allure in 2018, she said that she nearly went the path of becoming a nun instead of her acting career.

“I’m spiritual in that I absolutely believe in God,” she said during the interview with Allure. “I loved the idea of being a nun. Obviously, I did not choose to go that path, but I was very drawn to it.”

Kidman has no fear of breaking the mold when it comes to raising her children. During the same Vanity Fair interview she made it known that she has a "no phones" policy with her children. Also her children to not have Instagram.
