You may have heard of the man from Michigan who has been defying the tyrannical orders from Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
The man, Karl Manke is a barber who has had his shop shut down since Gov. Whitmer instituted her stay home orders. Even today she's still refusing to lift the orders.
Manke decided that it was better to fight Gov. Whitmer on the matter because he has to make a living and beside that, she's breaking the law.
After defying the orders, she's threatened him and the matter even went before a court. Thankfully, her order was indeed decided to be an unconstitutional order and he didn't have to shut down his business.
A judge on last week rejected a request for an injunction that would have strengthened the state’s hand in keeping a Michigan barbershop closed during the coronavirus outbreak.
Karl Manke’s shop in Owosso has been closed since last week when regulators suspended his license. But Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s administration was seeking an order in a separate action that would have further kept the 77-year-old out of business.
Shiawassee County Judge Matthew Stewart said the state health department failed to show that Manke’s shop was a specific threat to public health.
Photos, news stories and an affidavit from Michigan’s chief medical executive, Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, weren’t enough to show that cutting hair and other conditions would contribute to the spread of the coronavirus and COVID-19, Stewart said.
“That’s not enough to tip the scales,” the judge said.
What blows my mind is that people don't see what is right before their eyes. Their own governor is making unlawful rules. That's why she lost. She didn't because she's right, that's for sure.
It's absurd that this woman is even being considered for Vice President alongside Joe Biden if he wins...which we know he won't. To be honest, I want Biden to pick her because it will absolutely wreck any chance he thought he had of winning.
