Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Mocks Fox News – ‘They Are Far Superior to and More Intelligent Than Me’

Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocks Fox News on Saturday after a panel on the network discussed her wardrobe. She joked that Fox News had made it very clear that they are “far superior to and more intelligent than me.”

The response by Ocasio-Cortez was from when a viewer tweeted to he ron Friday night when a Fox News four-person panel was discussing her shoes. Ocasio-Cortez’s response included a piece from a Spanish song by musician Aventura. It translates to, “No, it’s not love, what you feel is called obsession.”

She then joked that non-Spanish speakers could play the hit song “Obession” by Mariah Carey instead. She was ripping the network for their frequent coverage of her.

A Twitter user replied that Fox News needs to hire a translator to understand her comebacks.

This was when the Latina joked that Fox News “has made it clear that they are far superior to + more intelligent than me, who they’ve called a ‘little, simple person.’”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Mocks Fox News

Per The Hill:

The incoming congresswoman has verbally sparred with Fox News since she said the network “gleefully” cracked jokes about her finances and wardrobe choices.

Ocasio-Cortez, who became the youngest woman in history elected to Congress in this year’s midterms, worked as a bartender before pulling off an upset victory over incumbent Democrat Rep. Joseph Crowley (N.Y.) in the primary election in June.

She has spoken publicly in recent weeks about how she will need to wait for her congressional salary to kick in before she can afford to rent an apartment in D.C.

On one hand, maybe it is time for Fox News to move on and focus on something else. On the other hand, the incoming Representative does keep feeding them with easy to use content.
