Democrat Eric Swalwell Calls for Confiscation of Semi-Automatic Weapons, Says Government Can Nuke Resistors

Well, that escalated quickly.

Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell called for the confiscation of semi-automatic weapons in the United States. Not surprisingly, many people did not take kindly to that.

Not only that, but he wants taxpayers to foot the bill for the $15 billion that it would cost to do this.

But wait that’s not all…

Swalwell says anyone who resists should be prosecuted.

Now that the election is over, he feels free to say these kind of things. They paint a very different picture before the election.

Per NBC:

In a USA Today op-ed entitled “Ban assault weapons, buy them back, go after resisters,” Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., argued Thursday that prior proposals to ban assault weapons “would leave millions of assault weapons in our communities for decades to come.”

Swalwell proposes that the government should offer up to $1,000 for every weapon covered by a new ban, estimating that it would take $15 billion to buy back roughly 15 million weapons — and “criminally prosecute any who choose to defy [the buyback] by keeping their weapons.”

Swalwell had a heated exchange with former combat veteran and pro-gun political fanatic Joe Biggs.

At this point Salwell says the government would nuke resistors. How insane is this guy? This is an elected official!

This Salwell is completely insane and Biggs proved it. This is why it is so important to get out and vote these people out of office.

Leftists claim conservatives of being paranoid about losing our guns. Then this guy comes in and completely validates anything anyone has said about not giving the government too much power.

Thanks, Rep. Swalwell!
