Red Sox Relief Pitcher Likes ‘Everything’ About Trump, Ready to Visit White House

It is still not known whether or not the World Series champ Boston Red Sox will visit the White House. There is one Boston Red Sox relief pitcher who definitely wants to pay President Trump a visit.

It’s been pointed out that Red Sox owner John Henry and manager Alex Cora are not fans of President Trump. Relief pitcher Heath Hembree made no secret that he is a huge fan of Trump.

After the Red Sox won another World Series, TMZ found Hembree leaving a Los Angeles night club. They asked him whether or not he would be interested in visiting the White House.

The fired up champion replied, “Hell, yeah! I f*** with Trump.”

The reporter followed up by asking what it is Hembree likes about Trump. His response? “Everything!”

Up until this point the relief pitcher’s political leanings were not known. Hembree is from Spartansburgh, SC, which is in a county where Trump won 63% of the vote in 2016. This certainly gave a hint to what his political stance would be.

He follows both of President Trump’s accounts on Twitter as well as White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Hembree is a devout Christian who has tweeted out bible verses in the past. Also he retweeted a Trump tweet back in December 2012, showing he is not someone who just became a fan of Trump after his presidency.

The Boston reliever has also shown respect for the military during his career. Back in December 2015 he traveled overseas as part of a USO Holiday Tour. They traveled to different countries and met with service members along with their families.

As of yet the Red Sox have not been invited to the White House. If they are, it’s unclear whether or not they will be attending. Team owner John Henry, who also owns the anti-Trump newspaper The Boston Globe, said it is possible.

“I think we will,” Henry said on Monday afternoon. “This is a special team. We’ll see what they want to do, but I think so.”

If it comes down to what the players want there is a good chance the White House visit happens. 75 percent of MLB player political donations went to conservative causes. Also, the previous two World Series champs, the Cubs and Astros, both went to the White House.

Remember, New England Patrios owner Robert Kraft is a big-time Trump supporter.
