President Trump and Kim Jong Un may have one thing in comment. Kim Jong Un offers to open an American burger joint in North Korea as a show of goodwill.
While Lil Kim is no longer willing to give up his nuclear weapons, he said he may open a “Western hamburger franchise in Pyongyang as a show of goodwill,” according to NBC.
It was reported that this was suggested as a way to get in the good graces of burger-loving President Trump.
While at an Atlanta rally, Trump said he would like to invite Kim to the United States for a state dinner, but there would be a twist: they will dine at the fast food American staple.
“We should be eating a hamburger on a conference table, and we should make better deals with China and others and forget the state dinners,” Trump said during the rally.
President Trump’s love of burgers and fast food has been very well-documented. He has a famous go-to McDonald’s order of two Big Macs. Then there was the time in Japan when he ordered an American-beef burger while having lunch with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
