Debbie White Dove Porreco, who is a direct descendant of Pocahontas, called out Elizabeth Warren, who claims she is a real Indian. Porreco to Warren: Get a DNA test.
Porreco was born on the Mattaponi Indian Reservation in Virginia. Her father was actually the tribe’s chief. You can trace her ancentry all the way back to Pocahontas, who is a big part of the legend and lore of one of America’s earliest colonies in Jamestown, Virginia.
This type of family tree gives Porreco the ability to call out Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). According to Warren, her high cheekbones are enough proof of her heritage.
Porreco thinks that’s not enough.
“I respect Sen. Warren as a U.S. Senator,” Porrecto told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson. “But I wish she’d take the DNA test.”
It’s not hard to get a DNA Test. You can actually go to ancestry.com and get one done for around $100.
Per Fox News:
Porreco said the DNA test would “end a lot of this controversy” about Warren’s Cherokee heritage.
President Trump has repeatedly referred to her as “Pocahontas,” which [Warren] has said is “racist.” Porreco said she was recently called “Pocahontas” and was not offended by the remark.
“If Pocahontas were alive today, she’d be very proud of President Trump,” Porreco told Sky News. “Just like Pocahontas was a heroine, Donald Trump is going to be our hero.”
“Porreco’s first cousin, singer Wayne Newton (who’s also Native American), endorsed President Trump during the 2016 election.”
During her thirties, Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren claimed she was Native American to benefit from affirmative action hiring programs intended for real Native Americans.
Warren did go as far as admitting that her Indian heritage has advanced her career.
