13 Semis Line Michigan Highway to Save Man Contemplating Suicide

An incredible display of support was shown in a very tough moment. 13 semis lined a highway overpass in Detroit to save a man who was contemplating suicide.

The clever solution was thought of by the Michigan State Police. They were attempting to shorten the fall for the man threatening to jump and end his life. This is according to local Fox station WJBK. Several semi trucks were lined up and reamined in place to make sure the fall was shorter if he did jump.

There was a call reporting the suicidal man just before 1 a.m. according to the report from WJBK.

We’re happy to report that the man did not jump. He walked safely off the bridge and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

There were several law enforcement agencies on the scene along with negotiators. They were communicating with the man for hours before they were able to bring a peaceful ending to the situation. What a great job by the law enforcement and truck drivers working together.
