United States Attacking Syria For Its Use of Chemical Weapons

President Trump announced on Friday that the United States is attacking Syria along with two other nations for its continued use of chemical weapons.

Trump said, “I ordered the United States armed forces to launch precision strikes on targets associated with the chemical weapon capabilities of Syrian dictator of Bashar al-Assad.”

He also announced that the United States is partnering with the United Kingdom and France in the strikes. The objective of the strikes is to “establish a strong deterrent against the production, spread and use of chemical weapons.”

“The combined American, British and French response to these atrocities will integrate all instruments of our national power: military, economic and diplomatic,” Trump continued. “We are prepared to sustain this response until the Syrian regime stops its use of prohibited chemical agents.”

According to Associated Press White House Reporter Zeke Miller, explosions are already rocking Damascus, the capital of Syria.
