American boxer Rod Salka made a statement with the trunks he wore to the ring against Mexico’s Francisoco Vargas. His trunks were wall-themed and had “America 1st” written on them. Nothing subtle about these trunks.
The 35-year-old Pennsylvania native wore the trunks to the ring in Indio, California. It’s safe to say that most of those in attendance were not supportive of the move. Unfortunately for Salka, he was quickly disposed by Francisco “El Bandido” Vargas. He was battered before quitting on his stool.
Rod Salka wore “America First” with Trump’s brick wall decorating his trunks… & a Mexican fighter just broke him down & made quit on his stool. Breaking Trumps wall. You can’t make this stuff up. Only in boxing 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/rfIXyXvljm

Despite the clip being cut off, you can still hear the announcer say:
“We are not going to get into these issues, but I think we are bringing a spirit typical of Latino people—this heart, this delivery, this [inaudible]. Let’s leave it by saying it was a good choice to take on Salka.”
He wore these trunks into hostile territory. Even the announcers were hoping he would get dropped. Well, here it is:

Vargas dealt punishment to Salka for six rounds. Salka’s corner threw in the towel after the 6th round.
