There were 50,000 texts exchanged between Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page according to Attorney General Jeff Sessions. That number does not include the missing texts.
Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX) reviews the new text messages. After doing so he believes there may have been a “secret society” of people within the Department of Justice and FBI who were working to take down Trump.
After viewing the 50,000 new text messages Rep. John Ratcliffe and Rep. Trey Gowdy went on Fox news Monday to talk about it.
As usual Trey Gowdy brings it. He told Fox that included in the texts between Strzok and Page were texts that talked about deleting texts.
Per The Federalist:
Gowdy said the explanation for the missing text messages may be fishier than the official explanation, saying he saw Strzok and Page discuss getting rid of texts in a printout of the messages he and other members of Congress received last week.
“Lay aside this glaring five-month gap in text that the world’s premier agency somehow missed” the bias of these agents, Gowdy began. “What Johnny and I saw today was a text about not keeping texts. We saw more manifest bias against President Trump all the way through the election into transition.”
“It’s a strange coincidence,” Ratcliffe said. “It’s possible these these messages that were missing, perhaps it is a strange coincidence.”

Trey Gowdy Brings It
.@RepRatcliffe on 5-month gap discovered in new FBI texts: “For former prosecutors like @TGowdySC & myself…it makes it harder & harder for us to explain away one strange coincidence after another.” https://t.co/jTCsiBqaVi pic.twitter.com/yPKVEJoG91

It’s very obvious that there was a group effort between the Department of Justice and FBI that were working together to take down President Trump. Fortunately Rep. Trey Gowdy is hot on their trails and is going to bring justice.
Trey Gowdy says on Fox that FBI agents discussed how to violate federal records laws. "In texts we do have, they're discussing how to avoid texts being captured."
