Las Vegas Police Captain Suddenly Reported Missing, Considered ‘Endangered’

On Monday a Las Vegas Police Captain James Larochelle was reported missing. Officers are currently leading a manhunt for the ‘endangered’ captain.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officers tweeted:

“HELP US LOCATE   Captain James LaRochelle, last seen early this morning near Desert Foothills & Charleston, driving a tan 1998 Land Rover with NV license 592JBV. Please call 702-828-3111 with info.”

Per NBC Las Vegas:

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department needs your help in locating Capt. James Larochelle.

James was last seen Thursday around 2 a.m. near Desert Foothills and Charleston Boulevard in the far west valley.

He was last seen driving a tan 1998 Land Rover bearing Nevada license plate 592-JBV.

Anyone with any information on the known whereabouts of Larochelle is strongly urged to contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Missing Persons Detail at 702-828-2907.

Per FOX5 Las Vegas:

Metro Police said James Larochelle, a captain with the department disappeared Thursday.

He was last seen at around 2:00 a.m. Thursday near Desert Foothills and Charleston driving a tan 1998 Land Rover with a Nevada license plate 592-JBV, Metro said. 

The department asked for the public’s help and told hospitals to check their registries and to notify LVMPD if he is located. 

Anyone with information on Larochelle’s whereabouts is asked to contact Metro at 702-828-3111.
