Despite Being A Total Failure, Roger Goodell Demands An Absurd Amount Of Money To Remain NFL Commissioner

It’s pretty obvious the NFL is a dumpster fire right now. Despite this Roger Goodell demands an insane amount of money to remain NFL commissioner.

Per reports from ESPN, Roger Goodell is demanding a $50 million a year salary. Apparently his $30 million a year salary is not enough to destroy the NFL. Additional to that he wants a private jet for life.

Roger Goodell Demands An Absurd Amount Of Money

It was pointed out by ESPN that there are multiple NFL owners who don’t even clear $50 million a year in earnings. This is an insane amount of money. Jerry Jones is leading a coup to get Goodell out of the NFL and it might actually work.

Per ESPN:

One NFL owner told ESPN that there are “several owners in this league who don’t make $40 million a year.” The owner was referring to the salaries that owners take, which does not include the increase in valuations that each NFL franchise has undergone.

“That number for Roger just seems too much,” the owner said. “It’s offensive. It’s unseemly.”

One NFL executive told ESPN that the committee should pass a rule that prohibits Goodell from making more than the league’s highest-paid player.

An attorney for Jones has said that owners are being misled about the Goodell negotiations, according to a letter obtained by ESPN that was sent late Wednesday to the league’s counsel and shared with team owners and executives. Jones has threatened to file a lawsuit if Goodell’s extension is completed without final review or approval from the league’s 32 teams.

Owners are not happy that this is being considered. Will the NFL just say heck with it and move forward with it anyway like they did with the anthem protests? Don’t rule that out.
