Border Wall Construction Begins in San Diego – VIDEO

U.S. Customers and Border Protection (CBP) has officially began border wall construction in San Diego. Eight wall prototypes are expected to be built and completed within 30 days.

Four of the walls will be made of concrete and four others will be made of an “alternate” material, according to CBP.

Per Daily Wire:

“We are committed to securing our border and that includes constructing border walls. Our multi-pronged strategy to ensure the safety and security of the American people includes barriers, infrastructure, technology and people,” said Ronald Vitiello, acting deputy commissioner, U.S. Customs and Border Protection. “Moving forward with the prototypes enables us to continue to incorporate all the tools necessary to secure our border.”

The wall prototypes, designed to deter illegal border crossings, will be all be 18-30 feet tall and “will likely continue to evolve” to meet the needs of the U.S. Border Patrol.
