Mexican Teenager Dies After Drinking Meth

According to reports, he suffered a great deal once he arrived in the emergency room. There was reportedly screaming and convulsions.

According to the medical examiner, Velasquez died of “acute methamphetamine intoxication.”

After this happened, the family of Velasquez filed a lawsuit against the United States. They claimed that the two agents seen in the video instructed Velasquez to drink it. The two agents are Valerie Baird and Adrian Perallon. They claim that these two were responsible for the death of Velasquez.

The family received a settlement for $1 million in January of 2017. Despite this, Perallon and Baird continue to have their job for Customs and Border Patrol.

It is still a mystery as to what caused Velasquez to drink from the bottle. Baird made the claim that Perallon told the teen to drink it while Perallon said the teen stepped up and made the offer to chug the meth.
