Wikileaks: Clinton Group Gave Orders to Colbert

For many years, Stephen Colbert was the conservative news anchor on Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report. Many millenials used this is a primary source of news. For the Clintons it was a major source of propaganda leading up to the years when Hillary ran for president. Tuesday Wikileaks revealed that a Clinton group gave orders to Colbert. In April of 2013 Colbert, along with his team at Comedy Central, were making episodes per the request of the Clinton Global Intitiative (CGI).

Craig Minassian was a part of this Clinton group. Wikileaks released an email where Minassian emailed John Podesta. As you probably know, Podesta eventually became the campaign manager for Hillary Clinton and was a very close ally of the Clintons. Minassian asked if he had seen a certain portion of an episode that they had pitched.

“I hope you got a chance to see the The Colbert Report’s two special episodes I had them do about CGI U that we taped in St. Louis this weekend. This is the link to last nights with a sketch about commitments and the monologue and WJC (Bill Clinton) interview aired Monday. Hope you enjoy and looking forward to your feedback. Next will be your Colbert appearance!”

Stephen Colbert never hid from the fact that he is obviously very liberal and a big-time supporter of Hillary Clinton during the whole election process. That said, no one had any idea that his team was doing this kind of PR work for Bill and Hillary per their requests. Check out the email.

The hole keeps getting deeper and deeper when it comes to how far the Clintons went to win the election. Despite all of the manipulation and underhanded tactics they used, they were still unable to defeat Donald Trump.
