Trey Gowdy Calls Out FBI Director James Comey’s Inconsistencies – VIDEO

Trey Gowdy has long been in the business of truth. So it came as no surprise when Trey Gowdy calls out FBI Director James Comey’s inconsistencies.

While on “The Situation Room” with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, Gowdy was asked to respond to a tweet from Rep. Adam Schiff. The tweet from Schiff alleged that Comey concealed the Trump investigation, but spoke out about the Clinton investigation.

“He’s suggesting there’s a double standard,” Wolf Blitzer said. “Do you agree with him?”

Trey Gowdy took the chance to agree that there were some inconsistencies involved. He also made it clear that he was not convinced that these inconsistencies were favoring Trump more so than Clinton.

Trey Gowdy Calls Out FBI Director

“He told us at the end of the investigation that he was not going to pursue charges against Secretary Clinton,” Gowdy explained. “That’s a little different than having that conversation on the front end of the investigation.”

“Although in this case, he has told us on the front end,” Gowdy said about the US-Russia investigation. “He told us last time we had a public hearing that there was an investigation, either intelligence or quasi-criminal investigation, into matters surrounding Russia’s efforts to interfere with our election.”

“It’s unusual to have that press conference on the front end of an investigation,” Gowdy asserted.

You can always count on Trey Gowdy to give you the truth, even when dealing in sticky situations like this. It is interesting when he points out that it is unusual to have a press conference on the front end of an investigation. If that’s the case, then why did Director Comey move forward with it?

It’s good to have Rep. Trey Gowdy out there fighting for truth and liberty. Share this story if you stand with Gowdy.
