North Korea Tests Another Ballistic Missile – VIDEO

According to a breaking report from Fox News, North Korea tests another ballistic missile. The missile was fired into the  Sea of Japan.

Per the report from Fox News, the missile is being tested with the eventual goal of targeting ships. The missile flew 25 miles and was in the air for a total of 15 seconds.

Per Fox News:

It is not immediately clear if this missile launch was successful. The U.S. Pacific Command and US Strategic command is still assessing.

“North Korea fired an unidentified missile from a site in the vicinity of Bukchang in Pyeongannam-do (South Pyeongan Province) early this morning,” the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said in a statement to the Yonhap News Agency.

“The only way a Scud gets a new designation is if it is substantially different,” said Jeffrey Lewis, a scholar at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.

The KN-17 is a single-stage, liquid-fueled missile — not the three-stage, solid-fuel missile that North Korea successfully tested back in February, which caused more concern among Pentagon officials.

While the success of the missile test is not known, it is clear that North Korea is still testing these missiles, which does not bode well. Look for strong and swift action from the U.S. Military as they have stressed time and time again that is not acceptable for North Korea to be testing ballistic missiles.
