Is it really a surprise that the blue checkmarks on Twitter are upset about Trump bombing ISIS? Leave it to them to turn ISIS into a sympathetic figure.
On Thursday President Trump dropped the MOAB (mother of all bombs) on an ISIS stronghold in the middle of Afghanistan.
Remember back in November 2015 when Trump was on the campaign trail and he talked about his strategy for handling ISIS once he is in office? Here’s a refresher for you.
One way President Trump differs from those before him is that he actually follows through on his campaign promises. It didn’t take long for the mainstream media to start crying after Trump bombed the sh*t out of ISIS.

Wait, they actually paint "MOAB" on the bomb itself? Pardon my French folks, but that is pretty fucked up. pic.twitter.com/8ncFGuhzq2

If you're gonna blame anyone for this MOAB that fell on Afghanistan, blame yourselves. WE did this. We gave Trump a reason to bomb.

I've studied the #MOAB for yrs. It's a disgusting device, designed to inflict maximum casualties. It's a carpet bomb. Should be illegal.

Many people and news outlets struggling to see the difference between 11 tons of TNT in MOAB bomb and 15 kilotons in bomb used on Hiroshima.

is MOAB a bigger bomb than the Warriors blowing a 3-1 lead in the Finals though?
— adrian crawford (@Crawf33) April 13, 2017
The bomb is often called MOAB. Interesting to note that residents of Moab, Utah did not like that name back in 2003https://t.co/VqOMzYs82q

Trump *would* drop the "mother of all bombs." US military targets ISIS tunnels in Afghanistan with #MOAB—largest non-nuclear bomb ever used.

Don't worry, Trump made sure we have a 2nd MOAB bomb before he dropped first one. Too bad it's an "unmanned'' bomb or we could put him on it

So the "most beautiful piece of chocolate cake" went w the Syria bomb, did like a whole cake go with this one? #Moab
— Diane Warren (@Diane_Warren) April 13, 2017
"Wait! There's a bomb called MOAB? And I can just use it any time I want? Cool!" – Trump, earlier today
— Max Weiss (@maxthegirl) April 13, 2017
Is the super-bomb called Moab because using it means we're going Old Testament on them?
— Mark Krikorian (@MarkSKrikorian) April 13, 2017
Reminder: In the Bible Moab was son by incest of Lot and his daughter. Is that a good name for a huge bomb?

My understanding of MOAB is that it's more a psy-ops bomb than anything. Equally-effective destruction can be done with more, smaller bombs.

Which Leonard Cohen song does the MOAB bomb remind you of?

Trumpeting the size of the bomb, rather than the results (if there were any), is basically the way the government narrated the Vietnam War.

A subtle reminder that it's possible to oppose ISIS and still be concerned about the brutality of dropping a 21,600-pound bomb. #MOAB
