Former Marine Gives Awesome Insight into the Travel Ban

Steven Gern is a 42 year old former marine. This former Marine gives awesome insight into the Travel Ban. Keep in mind he was a security specialist for the Marines. The video gives an in-depth description of the threat the people from these seven countries on Trump’s Travel Ban list pose to Americans. After this video went viral, Gern had to evacuate. “Apparently, it wasn’t safe for me to remain in the location I was in,” he said in a follow up video he posted.

Gern explains that the Iraqis are furious about Trump’s travel ban. He asked one of them what would happen to an American citizen who was walking down the street in Iraq. He said they would be killed within an hour. He’s not talking bout members of ISIS, al-Qaeda or military personnel. The Americans would be killed by regular Iraqi people in the streets. That is what kind of people we are dealing with.

He poses this question to the Iraqis: “If you would do this to me, in your country, why would I let you in my country?”

Follow-Up Video

Does this make things clear on what kind of people we are keeping out of the country with this travel ban? This is why it is so important to get this ban back in place while we figure out the best way for refugees to enter our country.
