The Obama administration is still putting new rules in place, somehow. Obama says requiring US employees to speak English is discriminatory. On top of that, it is OK for a company to rule that an employee must speak a foreign language. Here is a link to the new rules.
The new guideline is intended to crack down on “national origin discrimination.” This is because the workplace in America is “increasingly ethnically diverse.”
“The increased cultural diversity of today’s workplaces presents new and evolving issues with respect to Title VII’s protection against national origin discrimination,” the EEOC writes. “This enforcement guidance will assist EEOC staff in their investigation of national origin discrimination charges and provide information for applicants, employees, and employers to understand their respective rights and responsibilities under Title VII.”
This appears to be another example of Obama strong-arming businesses into taking on their leftist agenda and also being forced to adopt political correctness.
