Alleged Harvey Weinstein Victim Rose McGowan Banned From Twitter

Alleged Harvey Weinstein assault victim Rose McGowan was banned from Twitter late Wednesday night. She posted proof on her Instagram account.

McGowan has played a huge role in exposing the major Hollywood producer. She shared her story of the assault publicly. She also called out people on Twitter who were a part of enabling Weinstein’s behavior, including Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Casey Affleck.

“TWITTER HAS SUSPENDED ME. THERE ARE POWERFUL FORCES AT WORK. BE MY VOICE,” was how McGowan captioned her post on Instagram.

Per Daily Wire:

After a bombshell report from The New York Times broke on Thursday, reports of Weinstein’s alleged predatory actions have been streaming in; the producer has been accused of several acts of sexual harassment, assault, and even rape by three women. According to the accusations, the producer used his Hollywood clout to pressure actresses into bizarre sexual favors, such as making them watch him shower or masturbate, in exchange for a boost to their careers, or, alternatively, a threat to torpedo it if they refused. Weinstein has reportedly paid out millions in at least eight settlements regarding such matters.

The disturbing reports, and damning leaked audio, were buttressed with talk that Weinstein’s abuses were an open secret in Hollywood, suggesting a coverup. Actors Russel Crowe and Matt Damon were even accused of helping to squash a 2004 expose on Weinstein, thought Damon has publicly come forward to deny he had any knowledge concerning the producer’s sexual misconduct.

McGowan claims the coverup is indeed real, posting both explicit and cryptic messages (before her suspension) on Twitter, calling out Hollywood stars by name:

The Hollywood Reporter noted, “The NYT reported that McGowan reached a $100,000 settlement with Weinstein after an encounter in a hotel room at the Sundance Film Festival in 1997.”

Cheers to Rose McGowan. She is refusing to back down and doing everything she can to help expose Hollywood’s elite and their disgusting scandals they hid.
