Fake News Alert: Media Claims RNC Called Trump a King and Compared him to Jesus

Yet another fake news alert. The mainstream media claims the RNC called President-elect Trump a king and compared him to Jesus. Yep.

King Trump

Here is the part of the RNC statement that sent the media info a frenzy. The part they are worried about is bolded.

โ€œMerry Christmas to all! Over two millennia ago, a new hope was born into the world, a Savior who would offer the promise of salvation to all mankind. Just as the three wise men did on that night, this Christmas heralds a time to celebrate the good news of a new King. We hope Americans celebrating Christmas today will enjoy a day of festivities and a renewed closeness with family and friends.

The leftist media thought Trump was being referred to as a king and compared to Jesus. Here are some of the freakouts on Twitter.

At no point was Trump even mentioned in the statement. It was a giant reach to even consider that was what the article was implying. The responses to the ridiculous claim were sweet, though. Check them out.

Fake News Alert

While the Democratic Party was crying that fake news lost them the election, they sure are quick to use fake news to their advantage.
